The BPAA announced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for proprietors who will be attending the 2013 International Bowl Expo this summer in Las Vegas, Nevada. The industry’s premiere trade organization announced plans to award a $100,000 bowling center “makeover” – an incentive available to all domestic participating BPAA member centers. Proprietors can enter for the chance to win a full bowling center overhaul.
The winning center will also receive a complimentary review of center performance from BPAA personnel as well as education on center operations, web services, training, and other BPAA-provided offerings. The BPAA will also grant the winning center two full-tuition waivers to an upcoming Management School at Bowling University (valued of $2,998); complete access to Bowling University’s online training catalog (valued at $3,100); website hosting and unlimited updates for one year (valued at $780); and a multi-day operations review performed by an industry expert (valued at $3,600).
“A big area of opportunity for our member centers is adapting to the changing times and having the ability to reinvent their business model and offerings for customers. Of course this just isn’t possible without the necessary funding and resources. With this contest we’re giving one proprietor a unique chance to catapult their business to the next level and potentially change their business forever.”
– Steve Johnson, Executive Director of the BPAA
The winning center will benefit from this opportunity to modernize its facilities in the current business and technological environment, and significantly enhance its operations with profit-boosting best practices. Additionally, the winning center’s transformation will be documented and shared via social media and the BPAA website.
The BPAA’s “$100,000 Bowling Center Makeover” contest is open to domestic, non-military BPAA member centers only, with a limit of one entry per center. The drawing will be held at 4:00 p.m. local time Thursday, June 27, 2013 on the trade show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The winner must be present to accept the prize, and the winning $100,000 credit can be applied with any exhibitor participating at Bowl Expo 2013. Even if every domestic center in America attended Bowl Expo this year, your odds of winning would be worth the trip.
