BOWLING WILL RETURN TO MACY’S PARADE ON THANKSGIVING DAY

Go Bowling will be back on the national airwaves in November as its partnership with Macy’s has been extended through 2023.

The bigger-than-life bowling ball and pin “balloonicles,” along with the size 151½ bowling shoes, will be back on the parade route in front of millions of fans in attendance and viewing from home during the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

The city announced that it would return to in-person viewing for the parade after prohibiting crowds for the 2020 spectacle due to the pandemic.

The parade is one of numerous initiatives undertaken by Go Bowling and Strike Ten Entertainment to bolster top-of-mind awareness for bowling. These include partnerships at two NASCAR events and a multi-segment appearance on FOX News Channel’s “FOX & Friends” program to promote National Bowling Day.

A wide-reaching television commercial campaign also was undertaken on multiple networks and programs encouraging viewers to get back on the lanes.
