Guests at Bowlero Corp.’s bowling centers will have new-look rental shoes in which to bowl next year, featuring the creative design work of Samuel Riley (left).
The fashion student entered Bowlero’s #BeBowled shoe design contest, and his design was selected by a panel of judges that included Christian Soriano (right), the youngest-ever winner on the television program, “Project Runway.”
Riley said he was inspired by Bowlero’s retro-modern vibe and the sense of nostalgia that bowling evokes for him. He received a $2,500 prize.
QubicaAMF will manufacture the shoes for Bowlero, which the company says will be featured in Bowlero and Bowlmor locations nationwide.
