BCM Associate Publisher Barb Peltz has added a title to her business card: executive director of the Billiard and Bowling Institute of America.
The position opened up with the recent passing of Bill Supper. Peltz will remain associate publisher of BCM and Pro Shop Operator magazines while taking on the BBIA’s administrative duties.
“We are fortunate to find someone with Barb’s passion for bowling, her long history in the industry and her outstanding working relationships,” said BBIA President Brian Graham, Vice President of Consumer Products for Brunswick Bowling. “We’re confident she’ll do a great job for the association and its members.”
Graham added that one of the first tasks for Peltz will be to help finalize site logistics for the 2024 BBIA Convention, working on that project with BBIA Vice President and Convention Chairman Chris Sand of Turbo 2-N-1 Grips.
She will report to a board that includes Graham, Sand, Secretary Mark Buffa of Buffa Bowling, and directors Joe Jozwik of DiLaura Brothers Bowling Supply, Jimmy Land of Classic Products Corp. and Scott Hewitt of MOTIV Bowling. Lori Hurst will continue with BBIA as the assistant to the executive director.
