LONG-TIME BPAA STAFFER JUDY KING PASSES AWAY

On the occasion of her pending retirement from BPAA after a career that spanned 37 years and six months, Judy King was treated to a cake and introduced to the crowd at Bowl Expo 2021 by Executive Director Frank DeSocio.

King held important staff positions at BPAA, first as director of finance and later as director of accounts payable/receivable. She also was well known to Bowl Expo attendees as a fixture at the check-in counter and for handling other responsibilities.

Sadly, King passed away on Oct. 28, barely two years into her retirement. In an era when employees come and go at so many businesses, Judy King was a rare example of a “lifer,” and will be remembered for her work ethic, her can-do attitude and her welcoming smile.
