The PBA and PWBA tours, as well as collegiate and youth events conducted by the USBC, will continue to have a presence on CBS Sports Network as media rights extension agreements have been confirmed.
The PBA and CBS Sports Network agreed to a two-year rights extension to continue televising the PBA Tour Finals in 2024 and 2025. The 2024 edition will be held June 8-9 at Steel City Bowl and Brews in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Each event will consist of nine hours of live televised bowling.
“CBS Sports Network delivers one of our most action-packed weekends every year with the PBA Tour Finals,” said PBA Commissioner Tom Clark. “We are excited to continue building upon this relationship over the next two years.”
The top eight PBA Tour players, as determined by competition points earned over the previous two seasons, qualify for the PBA Tour Finals. Points can be earned during the 2024 season through the PBA Tournament of Champions in April.
CBS Sports Network also will continue as the television partner for PWBA Tour majors: the USBC Queens from The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on May 21; the U.S. Women’s Open from Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 18; and the PWBA Tour Championship from Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan, on Aug. 13.
In addition, CBS Sports Network will once again feature four shows from the Intercollegiate Team and Singles Championships, the finals of all three divisions of the Junior Gold Championships and the two title matches at the USA Bowling National Championships in April, May and July.
CBS Sports Network has 94% distribution in digital cable homes and is available in more than 98 million homes, according to the network.
