Say goodbye to another center with wood lanes.
But don’t bid adieu to the center itself, because Ideal Bowling Center in Endicott, New York, has replaced those wood lanes — which were installed in 1947 — with synthetics.
The center also is getting a new scoring and management system that will enable customers to order food and drinks from their lanes.
Family owned for more than six decades, the center was purchased by Cindy Lee in 2013, and after surviving the COVID-19 business shutdowns in New York, she’s looking to the future with the modernization projects.
