Maple Lanes RVC in Rockville Centre, New York, recently became the first bowling center in the nation to install Bowling Center TV — marking the beginning of a nationwide rollout that will continue through the year.
BCTV features exclusive short-form content that is curated for bowling center guests, along with national and local advertising. Programming includes highlights from bowling tournaments, bowler profiles, bowling tips and funny outtakes. Non-bowling programming includes soft news, entertainment news, general sports highlights, trivia and localized weather and traffic. Each segment typically is one to three minutes.
In addition to video content, there’s a scrollbar across the bottom of screens with news, sports scores and more.
At Maple Lanes RVC, BCTV was installed on 12 Samsung 55-inch flat screen TVs placed throughout the facility.
