Gurnee Mills, one of the largest shopping malls in the country, will soon welcome a new location of Round1.
Like other Round1 venues, the Gurnee, Illinois, facility will offer bowling, Japanese arcade games, karaoke, billiards and a kids’ play zone. There also will be several party rooms.
In addition to the straight-from-Japan arcade games rarely seen in the U.S., another differentiating feature of Round1 is its food lineup, which includes takoyaki, gyoza and mochi ice cream.
Round1 will be located in an area of the mall formerly occupied by anchor stores Sears and Toys “R” Us, and an Aug. 31 opening is anticipated.
