The 64-lane bowling center at Suncoast, which recently hosted the USBC Masters, will be renovated as part of a property-wide modernization to “remain relevant and fresh” in the Las Vegas market, Boyd Gaming officials have announced.
Just three miles away in the high-end Summerlin neighborhood, Red Rock Lanes is having its insetting machines replaced. However, going against the trend, it is going with free fall machines, not strings.
Red Rock will pause the renovation project long enough to host the 13th annual Xtravaganza doubles bowling tournament, a major fundraising event for the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame. The Xtravaganza will run May 30-June 1.
