2 NEW TEXAS VENUES + 2 REIMAGINED SEARS STORES

Launch Entertainment continues to expand with plans to bring a new venue to Houston, Texas. Trampolines, bowling lanes, an arcade, a ninja course and virtual reality are among the planned attractions. The venue also will include a restaurant, principals Robert Adkins and Frank Fults said.

Also in Texas, Rush Maxx has opened in a former Sears department store space in San Antonio’s Ingram Park Mall. The company already has two rock climbing centers in the city and the new facility also offers rock climbing. Other attractions include bowling, laser tag, a large arcade and more. Rush Maxx offers both a la carte pricing and memberships.

Another former Sears store, this one at the Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, Arizona, is now being replaced by a 65,000-square-foot Round1 Bowling & Arcade venue. The company plans its usual mix of bowling, arcade games imported from Japan, both American and Japanese food, and more.
