BPAA Hall of Famer (2014) and past President (2000-2002) Michael Ducat has been a busy man in recent weeks.
Not only did he have to deal with the lead-up to and aftermath of two hurricanes with his Incredibowl Entertainment venue in Winter Haven, Florida, but he also was up to his eyeballs with everything involved in opening a new Incredibowl in Toledo, Ohio.
The Toledo venue is housed in the building that formerly was the long-time home of Southwyck Bowl, one of four traditional centers in the area owned by the Ducat family in years past. Incredibowl is an FEC through and through, with a laser tag attraction, an arcade with more than 100 games and a prize store, as well as bowling.
The bowling offering features a “Main Lanes” section and a “VIP Suite,” with all pricing based on time, rather than a per-game basis. A “next-level” dining experience is featured with a laneside menu that includes starters, wings and chunks, handhelds, pizzas and flatbreads.
Ducat said that he had dreamed of bringing the Incredibowl experience to Toledo for years “because that is where I am from.” Fifty-two years after working as a pinchaser at the family’s Miracle Lanes, Ducat is now helping a new generation of Toledoans make memories.
