After taking back control of the Brixton Recreation Centre, the Lambeth Council in the United Kingdom has announced plans to install bowling lanes and virtual-reality rooms.
The strategy calls for the new attractions to draw more visitors, whose spending will contribute to proliferating the borough’s leisure services.
Also in the U.K., a new venue dubbed Star Pins — featuring bowling, mini golf, ice-free curling, a large arcade and other attractions — is scheduled to open by year’s end at the West Orchards Shopping Centre in Coventry.
Star Pins is a sister brand of King Pins.
