Bowlero Corporation continued to acquire centers in 2024, most notably the historic Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan — a 90,000-square-foot venue that includes an arena bay built for the Detroit Thunderbirds of the National Bowling League.
But the company saved its biggest news for the end of the year when it announced it would rebrand to Lucky Strike Entertainment. Effective Dec. 12, the corporate name changed to Lucky Strike Entertainment Corporation, and its ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange changed from BOWL to LUCK.
The rebrand includes the transformation of more than 75 Bowlero centers into Lucky Strike venues over the next two years, beginning with locations in high-profile areas, including Bowlero Chelsea Piers in Manhattan and Bowlero Tysons Corner in the Washington, D.C., area.
The rollout also includes the debut of new flagship locations, most notably the luxurious Lucky Strike Beverly Hills, which opened earlier this month at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on land once occupied by a small amusement park. It’s one of Southern California’s few “vertical malls,” and the 22-lane Lucky Strike venue is located at street level.
Lucky Strike Entertainment’s portfolio now also includes water parks and mini-golf based Boomers Parks.
