Long-time proprietor Marsha Royalty has passed away from complications of a procedure relating to her heart.
Royalty, who had recently sold Four Seasons Sports Center in Sycamore, Illinois, received the Illinois State BPA Lifetime Membership Award during ISBPA’s annual awards ceremony on Nov. 3. The award recognizes former ISBPA members who were extremely active in the association during their time as proprietors.
Royalty played a major role in the development of youth bowling throughout the state for decades. She was the chairman of the ISBPA Grand Prix Scholarship Foundation until she sold her business.
