STERN INSTALLS GIANT PINBALL OUTSIDE HEADQUARTERS

Stern Pinball Inc. recently unveiled a new design feature at its headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois: a 7-foot-diameter steel pinball weighing 800 pounds.

The installation is the centerpiece of a significant facelift for the company’s building exterior, blending artistic flair with Stern’s iconic pinball legacy. Stern’s George Gomez spearheaded the project.

“We needed to give our building a facelift, and it felt natural to incorporate something that represents who we are,” Gomez explained.

Inspired by the famous “Cloud Gate” sculpture (known by locals as “The Bean”) in downtown Chicago’s Millennium Park, the idea of installing a giant pinball outside the building emerged as a unique photo opportunity for visitors.
