WISCONSIN PROPRIETORS TO MEET JUNE 9-10

The 2025 Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin Annual Meeting, Awards Luncheon, Conference & Trade Show is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, at the Central Wisconsin Convention + Expo Center in Rothschild.

The event is being moved from its traditional fall timeframe to coincide with the association’s Scholarship Golf Tournament, which is set for Monday, June 9, at nearby Indianhead Golf Course in Mosinee.

The Annual Meeting program will include updates on BCAW programs for the upcoming year and elections for four BCAW Board of Directors positions and two officers (treasurer and secretary).

An educational seminar on the program is entitled “Active-Threat Planning for Small Businesses,” and will be led by Lt. John Phillips, lead tactical instructor for the Wausau Police Department. The session will focus on fundamental concepts proprietors can apply to their businesses to develop a personal response plan, an active threat emergency action plan, and employee training. These concepts have been adopted from resources created by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security.
