New York City Council member David Carr was among the dignitaries on hand at Rab’s Country Lanes in Staten Island, helping Anne Trischetta celebrate her 100th birthday.
The centenarian, who has bowled at Rab’s for decades, continues to bowl in two leagues per week.
“Anne is the kind of person who lights up every room and the lanes when she walks in,” said Rab’s proprietor Frank Wilkinson. “She’s living proof that passion and community keep us young. We’re lucky to have her as part of the Rab’s family.”
Other politicians on hand for the celebration included Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis and State Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton, who helped put Rab’s in the spotlight for the day.
