NORTH CAROLINA CENTER HELPS BACK-TO-SCHOOL EFFORT

With the end of summer comes the re-opening of schools across the country, and for families in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the expenses associated with back-to-school were minimized with an assist from Dragon Lanes.

In addition to offering free and discounted bowling and food on Aug. 9, attendees received free backpacks filled with notebooks, pencils and other supplies.

Organizers said the idea came simply from noticing how back-to-school shopping can tax so many household budgets.
