SACRAMENTO CENTER GAINS LANDMARK STATUS

The City Council in Sacramento, California, has officially designated the former Land Park Lanes as a historic landmark.

The change now allows the city to oversee any future renovation or demolition plans at the center, which was closed by Bowlero Corporation following a fire early last year.

The center was built during the bowling boom of the 1960s.
