Storm Products Inc. has acquired Ben Lomond Lanes in Ogden, Utah. The company said that the 20-lane center would serve as a premier destination for bowling fans throughout northern Utah while functioning as a real-world testing environment for Storm’s bowling innovations.
Under the leadership of Corbet Austin, the company’s vice president of operations, plans call for the center to continue operating seamlessly through the current season, with all existing leagues and youth programs continuing without interruption. The day-to-day operations will be managed by Chayton Petersen.
Once the season concludes, the facility will undergo an extensive renovation with a focus on technology. Under Hank Boomershine’s leadership as chief technology officer and head of Storm’s Innovation Division, the facility will serve as an advanced testing ground where his team will develop and refine breakthrough innovations and next-generation bowling equipment.
“This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our mission to redefine the future of bowling,” said Tyler Jensen, president of Storm. “The center will serve as more than just a premier bowling facility; it will be our laboratory for testing breakthrough technologies and our showcase for what the future of bowling can look like.”
