10-EVENT PBA SCHEDULE ON THE CW TO INCLUDE 4 MAJORS

Two weeks after Super Bowl LX takes place in Santa Clara, California, the LX will transform into /X and an occasional O as “PBA Championship Sundays on The CW” will debut, ushering in the PBA’s “post-FOX” era. The series will unfold over 10 consecutive Sunday afternoons with two-hour telecasts beginning at 4 p.m. Eastern.

The season will begin with the PBA Players Championship in Arlington, Texas, on Feb. 22, and in a nod to “PBA Winter Tour” schedules of years past, will conclude with the PBA Tournament of Champions in Fairlawn, Ohio, on April 26.

Said Lev Ekster, president of Lucky Strike Entertainment, which owns the PBA: “Our partnership with The CW reflects the future of bowling as both a competitive sport and an evolving entertainment experience. By uniting with The CW’s growing sports lineup, we’re bringing the energy of the PBA Tour into homes across the country every week. ‘Championship Sundays’ will be a destination event for fans to follow the game’s biggest moments.”Prior to each week’s telecast, fans will be able to follow qualifying and match play rounds on BowlTV.
