NEIGHBOR ASSISTS OWNERS OF CENTER DESTROYED IN FIRE

A fire destroyed Eldon Lanes in Eldon, Missouri, in early August. Firefighters responding to the incident found heavy smoke and flames pouring from the front of the center and called for back-up as the fire grew and became unstable. No one was inside the building, and no injuries were reported.

The owners were out of town when the fire started, and have said that they are working with their insurance company to rebuild.

Meanwhile, nearby Awesome Lanes invited the owners to conduct Eldon’s 9-Pin No-Tap tournament at Awesome, and that happened on Oct. 11. Another Eldon event at Awesome is planned for December.
