BVL Again Invited to Wreath-Laying Ceremony

The Bowlers to Veterans Link once again represented the bowling community at the 72nd annual National Veterans Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

BVL was the only sports organization invited among approximately 35 national groups.

As part of the tribute, Edward Hogan, winner of BVL’s Salute to Veterans campaign, joined the BVL Board of Directors to take part in the laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

“It was my great honor to represent BVL at the wreath-laying ceremony,” Hogan said.

Added BVL Board Chair Nancy Schenk: “This honor is about more than recognition. It’s about standing alongside veterans and showing the impact the bowling community can make.”

Since 1942, BVL has raised more than $59 million to support veteran wellness and recreation programs nationwide.
