BPAA Announces School of Entertainment Center Management to its Bowling University Lineup

The Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA), announced plans to add the FEC-focused School of Entertainment Center Management to its Bowling University curriculum.

The ECM school will consist of a 6-day, 30+ hour course that will be offered at the International Bowling Campus in Arlington, Texas, starting Sept. 30. It will cover a facet of center operations, and the intricacies of running establishments that offer a combination of attractions.

In a press release statement to the BPAA’s website, Bart Burger, BPAA’s vice president of business development said,

“When you add this school to our current slate of educational opportunities presented through Bowling University’s School For Bowling Center Management and the Online Training and Management Certification program, we feel we’ve filled a significant void in today’s marketplace,”

“This is the first program of its kind designed specifically for the bowling industry.”

According to the press statement, some of the programs of study will include: Entertainment Center Financial Levers, Attractions Operations, Food & Beverage Service & Execution, Group Events Promotion, and Organized Play in Entertainment Centers. And the faculty will include representatives from the following companies: Namco, TrainerTainment, Brunswick Bowling, Cornerstone Consulting, and Stars & Strikes.
