Following in the footsteps of one downtown Denver development, the Sterling Bay company is planning a major renovation of its building at 311 W. Monroe in Chicago’s Loop.
The company envisions a tenant lounge, fitness center, yoga room and a four-lane bowling installation.
The amenities are intended to attract tenants to the building and help tenants recruit younger workers. The facilities also could be used by tenants to entertain guests.
According to Crain’s Chicago Business, Sterling Bay paid $61 for the 388,000-sq.-ft. building, and plans to invest $45 million or more in its renovation.
