FLORIDA CENTERS BRACE FOR HURRICANE IRMA

Twenty-five years after Hurricane Andrew destroyed Paula Carter’s Homestead Lanes, Floridians tonight are bracing for the impact of another monster storm: Hurricane Irma.

The LaSpina family, owners of Maple Lanes Countryside in Clearwater, Fla., began preparing early, instructing employees to board up the center several days ago.
