Henderson, Nev., Gets New Classic Distribution Center

Classic Products Corp. has added a fifth distribution center in Henderson, Nev., just outside of Las Vegas.

The facility will expand the company’s next-day delivery capabilities into a section of the country presently reached in three days.

In a media release, Classic said it intends to bring to the Southwest the same level of service, full line of products, and high fill rates that are features of its Florida, Indiana, Texas and Washington locations.

The Henderson facility is tentatively scheduled to open and begin shipping in early October. Product inventory out of this location will be available via Classic’s ecommerce system at classicproducts.com or through its customer service staff.

The location will be represented by several members of Classic’s existing sales staff — Bob Andrews, Jeff Gray, Chris Funk and Ray Ardeneaux — who already work closely with shops and centers in Nevada and all other nearby states.

We have a wonderful opportunity here in Henderson,” said Jimmy Land, Classic’s Vice President of Operations. “The growth and support of bowling in the Las Vegas community and surrounding areas makes this an ideal location for us to offer what we do best for the bowling community in a timely manner.”

The new facility is located at: 7685 Commercial Way, Suite G,
Henderson, NV 89011.

Top-Rated Telecast Will Return to FOX Schedule

The PBA has announced that the PBA Clash, the special event that kicked off the organization’s historic television agreement with FOX Sports, will return to FOX on Sunday, Nov. 3.

It will feature a battle among the top eight money winners from the 2019 Go Bowling! PBA Tour season.

The PBA Clash, the most-watched event of the PBA’s first season of FOX Sports telecasts, will see its elite field compete in a unique single-elimination competition hosted by the Kegel Training Center in Lake Wales, Fla. The taping is set for Monday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m., and ticket information will be announced in the near future.

Marshall Kent won the inaugural Clash, defeating Dom Barrett, 218-215, in a telecast that was watched by an average audience of more than 1,7 million viewers — the largest audience to view any bowling telecast on any network since 2005.

The 2019 field will be determined at the conclusion of the PBA FloBowling ATX Invite at Dart Bowl in Austin, Texas, on Sept. 21.
