The production of 900 Global Bowling balls is being moved from San Antonio Texas, to the Storm Bowling facility in Brigham, Utah.
“Our decision was based on the market conditions affecting everyone worldwide,” said Wes Pye, Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing. “The bowling industry is very resilient and will come back strong, but it will take time. We want to thank all the past and present team members of Global Manufacturing for their great work and efforts in building 900 Global.”
While Global Manufacturing has ceased production in Texas, the company’s design, research and development team, as well as sales and marketing team members, will remain in San Antonio.
