IDAHO PROPRIETOR RETIRES AFTER 34 YEARS, SELLS CENTER

Shawn and Marlene Prall have purchased Riverside Lanes in Orofino, Idaho, from Robert Lashly.

“My family has grown up here,” said Lashly. “My wife and I started here and she passed away. It’s just time for me to retire.”

Lashly had owned the center, which opened in 1956, for 34 years.

The Pralls are working to rebuild the center’s league program while navigating operational challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic.

Orofino about 2.5 hours southeast of Spokane, Wash.
