The coronavirus has slowed progress on a proposed bowling-based family entertainment center in Maalaea on the Hawaiian island of Maui. But according to developers, work on the business plan is proceeding.
That plan calls for filling a two-story, 30,000-sq.-ft. building with 30 bowling lanes, video games, a restaurant, sports bar and banquet rooms.
More recent discussions have involved consideration of a penthouse-level nightclub with the goal of attracting entertainers booked on Oahu to also consider performing on Maui.
