Michele Johnson and the late Harry “Whitey” Kiszewski — who contributed immensely to youth bowling — have been elected to the Greater Buffalo USBC Association Hall of Fame for meritorious service.
Kiszewski was described by Milton Northrop of the Buffalo News as “a longtime fixture at Thruway Lanes, [who] coached and organized youth bowling at Russell Lanes, Ideal Lanes and Thruway and with the Pepsi junior leagues.”
Johnson has been “a behind-the-scenes organizer, planner and administrative aide for GBUSBC and USBC events for more than 30 years,” especially to youth bowling activities.
