We all know that the bowling family has a big heart, and it was illustrated once again when the people of Ocala, Fla. — and, specifically, the bowlers of AMF Galaxy West Lanes — stepped up for Allen Ekleberry, a mechanic at the center.
Ekleberry’s house was destroyed in a fire on Easter night, and when word got out, bowlers at the center immediately began a fundraiser to help out.
Ekleberry is described as “beloved in the bowling community,” someone who goes out of his way to be nice to everyone.
