Thornton Hall Bowling Lanes in Sharon, Pa., is in the process of being sold to RB&G, a company operated by Rick Kennett and George Farneth.
Kennett and Farneth own another center in West Virginia, and said they intend to begin making improvements as soon as the sale closes.
The history has a fascinating history, as its lanes are located on the second floor of the building, and a grocery store once occupied the first floor. Three cousins who have operated the facility for years are retiring.
