The Professional Bowlers Association is increasing SMART scholarship funds for all PBA Junior National Championship events in 2021, offering more opportunities for youth bowlers to compete and earn funding for their future education.
The 2021 national finals will guarantee $16,000 first-place SMART scholarships in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.
The tournament features four National Regional Qualifiers over the Labor Day weekend (Sept. 3-5) at Bowlero locations in Wauwatosa, Wis. (Midwest); Marietta, Ga. (South); Euless, Texas (Southwest); and Mesa, Ariz. (West).
Each National Regional winner will receive a $2,000 SMART scholarship, and additional scholarships will be awarded on a one-for-six basis.
Numerous other qualifying events have been scheduled across the country, and the PBA is seeking centers to host additional qualifiers. Contact PBA Membership Director Mike Sledz at 206-332-9688, option 1, for further information.
