WEST VIRGINIA TOWN WELCOMES BACK BOWLING

Bowling is back in Clarksburg, W.V., following an official ribbon cutting at Alley 304.

The center is in the same building occupied for 59 years by Compton Lanes, which closed in 2020 as a result of the state’s COVID-19 mandates for businesses.

New owner Gary Simmons invested in a state-of-the-art scoring system with big monitors, but also embraced the facility’s heritage by using some of the wood from the old approaches in building a new reception counter.

Birthday parties represent a significant aspect of Alley 304’s updated business model.
