‘HOW WE ROLL’ ROLLS TO A STRONG RATINGS START

The debut episode of the new CBS sitcom, “How We Roll,” based on the true-life story of pro bowler Tom Smallwood, landed in the No. 2 slot on the 2021-22 broadcast season’s list of freshman comedy premieres ranked by viewership.

In first place was “How We Roll’s” time slot lead-in, “Ghosts,” which has already been renewed by CBS for a second season.

“How We Roll,” which stars Pete Holmes as Tom, drew 4.104 million viewers for its debut broadcast.
