LOUISVILLE CENTER BACK IN BUSINESS WITH SCRATCH KITCHEN

More than six years after it closed, Vernon Lanes in the Butchertown neighborhood of Louisville, Ky., is back in business.

Renovations to the facility took more than a year, and the reopening took place on March 16.

All eight pinsetters have been restored, a new HVAC system has been installed, and a full-service scratch kitchen is being introduced. A 200-seat dining room with a long bar will soon be playing host to concerts, according to General Manager Bruce Jarrett.
