LOCAL KIDS HELP BREAK IN RECONDITIONED PINSETTING MACHINES

South Hill Bowling Centre in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, performed a great deal of maintenance on its pinsetting machines over the summer.

To make sure they were in tip-top shape for the start of the new bowling season, the operators came up with a novel idea: They invited participants in three summer youth programs to a free bowling party.

“We wanted to give [the machines] a test run before we really got started with the season, just to see if there were any kinks or anything that needed to be worked out,” General Manager Jeannette Cole told Moose Jaw Today.
