David Bardon, one of Wisconsin’s high-profile proprietors and a long-time contributor to the industry at the state and national levels, has decided to step back from bowling.
The long-time treasurer of the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin, who received a BCAW Award of Excellence in 2022 in recognition of his many years of service to the industry, has resigned from the BCAW Board of Directors.
“With the numerous changes in my life over the past year, including the sale of my two largest bowling centers to Bowlero Corporation, it’s now time to begin a new chapter in my life,” Bardon said. “Bowling has been a major part of my life. Now is the right time to step back from the business side of bowling and pursue other interests.”
As part of his transition, Bardon said he also plans to sell Odyssey Fun Center in Sheboygan Falls, Wis.
