MAIN EVENT SET TO OPEN NEW VENUE IN KENTUCKY

Main Event Entertainment is scheduled to open its 56th location and its second in Kentucky on March 29. The new venue in Lexington spans 50,000 square feet and includes 22 bowling lanes among its myriad of attractions. Main Event’s other Kentucky location is in Louisville.

BOWLING’S UV ERA COMES TO AN END (MOSTLY)

The United States Bowling Congress will no longer require UV content as a mandatory additive in USBC-approved lane oils but will continue to use lane oil with the UV additive for its championship tournaments. The decision comes after USBC received comments from lane oil manufacturers Brunswick and Kegel supporting the change.
