SZABINA SUCCEEDS SUPPER AS E.D. OF IBPSIA

Steve Szabina, a man with vast experience in both the pro shop business and working with pro shop operators, has been named the new Executive Director of the International Bowling Pro Shop & Instructors Association.

The announcement was made by IBPSIA President Dwyane Da Moude, who said, “The IBPSIA Board of Directors is excited to welcome Steve to our association, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter of the IBPSIA story brings under Steve’s leadership.”

Szabina comes to IBPSIA following more than five years with ZOT Pinsetter Parts, during which he led the introduction of that company’s fledgling special-effects LED lighting products to the recreation and hospitality markets, as well as a network of distributors.

He had honed his sales and marketing skills during a 14-year stint with Ebonite International, managing the seven-state Midwest territory that included more than 300 retail accounts and four major product distributors. He also managed 70 athletes who represented the four Ebonite International bowling ball brands.
