What’s next for Rod Ross, who recently retired as Head Coach of Team USA?
He’ll be part of the team tasked with creating a coaching certification course to help member nations of the International Bowling Federation raise their standards of coaching from the grassroots to the elite level.
Dr. Koh Koon Teck, IBF’s Global Coach Education Pathway Chairman, said that Ross would be joined by fellow elite coaches Juha Maja, Ulf Hamnas, Ernesto Avila Castaneda and Pedro Merani.
In a media release, the IBF said that by having a universal coach education program, the federation could ensure consistency in developing coaches and standards worldwide.
