DICK ATKINSON’S DREAM LIVES ON THANKS TO DAUGHTER

Dick Atkinson, who built and opened Hallmark Lanes in Killeen, Texas, in 1987, passed away in May. But the future of the center is secure.

“My dream was always to make sure my father’s dream lives on,” Karin Ciesiolka, Atkinson’s daughter and the center’s General Manager, told the Killeen Times.

Ownership of the center passed to Atkinson’s wife, Bonnie, whom Ciesiolka described as “my dad’s right-hand man. It’s a family organization.”

For many years, Hallmark Lanes was a regular stop on the PBA Southwest Region schedule.
