Atlantic City, N.J., and Reno, Nev., will be the epicenters of educational opportunities for bowling center proprietors later this month as the East Coast Bowling Centers Convention takes over the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Oct. 17-19, followed by the West Coast Bowling Centers Convention at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino, Oct. 25-26.
Both events feature identical educational tracks, with Rocky Bush helping proprietors with the layout of their social media game plan, Dan Gingiss demonstrating how a remarkable customer experience can be a center’s best digital marketing strategy, Ryan Gromfin expounding on the nine restaurant accelerators, and Gerald Morrow offering helpful tips on league and guest development.
The keynote speaker in both Atlantic City and Reno will be Story Arc Consulting’s Steve Lerch, who will talk about the necessity for bowling centers to work harder than ever to keep up with customer behavior, which is changing faster than at any time in human history. Both shows also will offer numerous networking opportunities for attendees.
The month kicks off with another big gathering, the Southwest Bowling Proprietors Trade Show. It’s set for Oct. 3-5 at the Embassy Suites Convention Center and Hotel in Denton, Texas.
Also, the once-per-year School of Entertainment Center Management is taking place next week at the International Bowling Campus in Arlington, Texas.
