DENNIS LANE RETIRES FROM BUSINESS, SELLS WARPATH LANES

Warpath Lanes, the only bowling center in Kingsport, Tenn., changed ownership recently when veteran proprietor and former pro bowler Dennis Lane decided to retire from the business.

Lane’s parents, Jim and Frances Lane, opened the center in 1960.

“We really appreciate the support from the whole community,” Lane told the Johnson City Press. “Kingsport and the surrounding area, all the people, were really good to us. Sixty-two years of support and we survived all the hard times and everything.”
