STRINGPINS UTILIZED IN BOLIVARIAN GAMES

Brunswick Bowling Products’ StringPin pinsetters made their sanctioned international bowling tournament debut in the 2022 Bolivarian Games at Mega Bowling in Valledupar, Colombia in late June.

The International Bowling Federation approved the use of string pinsetters for sanctioned tournaments last year.

The Bolivarian Games, first held in 1938, was created to honor the Simón Bolívar, liberator of modern-day Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

Some 3,000 athletes from 11 countries were scheduled to participate in 33 sports and 54 disciplines. Brunswick and Universal Bowling were official partners of the 2022 Bolivarian Games bowling tournament, and Universal Bowling staff supported the center and bowlers at the event.
