Main Event has opened its first center in Minnesota, adjacent to a Topgolf center in Woodbury.
The brand’s usual mix of attractions — bowling, a large arcade and laser tag — is included. Main Event’s parent company, Dave & Buster’s conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.
In other company news, a little more than a year in the role, Dave & Buster’s CEO Tarun Lal has stepped down, citing a desire to spend more time with his family in India. Lal will continue as an advisor to the company.
Darin Harper, who worked closely with Lal in the company’s “back to basics” management strategy, was named to succeed him.
