At the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Bowling Centers of Southern California, proprietors voted to accept the board’s recommendation to reduce the size of the board from 12 members to nine.
This reflects the smaller number of centers in the association today than at its peak, as real estate values and other factors have resulted in numerous venerable centers being replaced by housing and/or retail developments.
Voted to serve as officers for one-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2023, were Jesse Hansen, President; Tony Sands, Vice President, and James Alto, Secretary/Treasurer.
Voted to serve three-year terms as directors beginning on the same date were Todd Makovsky and Wayne Phelps.
The BCSC Board has scheduled its annual retreat for Nov. 6-8 to plan for the coming year.
