Five individual bowling centers topped the $10,000 mark in fundraising during the Bowlers to Veterans Link’s record-breaking 2024-25 season, when a total of $1,824,639 was donated.
Leading the way was Coconut Bowl at Wild Island in Sparks, Nevada, with $21,050; followed by Conway Family Bowl, Conway, Arkansas, $16,565.14; Strike & Spare Lanes, Lodi, Ohio; $15,000.20; Rainbow Lanes Family Fun Center, Clayton, North Carolina, $11,049.88; and Foxfire Lanes, Kannapolis, North Carolina, $11,001.
Among bowling center chains, four exceeded $30,000 raised, with Maple Family Centers (New York and Florida) leading the way with $155,850. Don Carter Lanes (Illinois and Wisconsin) was next with $50,246, followed by Royal Pin Entertainment (Indiana) with $32,000, and Bowland and HeadPinz Entertainment Centers (Florida) with $31,580.
Speaking at Bowl Expo, BVL Chair Nancy Schenk told attendees, “It’s an honor to get to do what I do.”
And as BVL works to raise $2 million for the first time in its current fiscal year, Executive Director Jessica Abel encouraged proprietors, “If your center ran a BVL fundraiser last year, run one more this year. If you’ve never run one, do it.”
